Have your parents ever warned you not to mix around with that particular kid? That boy your parents tell you to stay away from? And everything your parents don't want you to end up to be like? I'm that guy.

Guys, usually the moral of a story comes at the end of the story but for this, I'm going to say it now: First impressions are important.
You see guys, it takes a little over just 5 seconds to say, "That guy's cool." or "Crop." That first impression is important. It tells people a thousand stories about yourself without even talking to them. But not necessarily the best first impressions are good. It depends on the social stereotype. For example:
You see a new kid walking in school and he/she wears long socks. Like golfer-type socks. And you know that kid's one hell of a nerd/geek. But behind the scenes, she/he might actually be one heck of an awesome soccer/guitarist/beatboxer/dancer/rapper and you didn't get a chance to mingle with that person well since you think he/she is a douche.
And it can happen the other way around too.
A new kid walks in school with this cool Nike/Adidas bag and he has this 'soccer-aura' thing going on. You think to yourself, "Shit, now girls would like him more than they would like me." And you begin to lower your self-esteem and blah blah. But behind-the-scenes, he's just an arrogant dude who's only motive is to get girls and thinks highly of himself. Crop.
First impressions are important, but make sure it fits your bill. You don't want to end up like the 'there's-always-a-loser-kid-among-the-awesome-ones'.
