Episode 26; Kings And Queens
Episode 26; Kings And Queens
Back in the days, men of great power would do something magnificent for their special someone. Some built the Taj Mahal, others just gave them expensive gifts.
I brought my girlfriend to Sentosa.
You may think it's typical & overrated but it's not. Why? I'll get on to that later. You see guys, Sentosa is one of those places you can bring virtually anyone to have a good time. You mum- bring her to see the Underwater World and inspire her what fishes to have for dinner. Your dad- bring him to the Sentosa Luge and tell him that speeding kills, even on go-karts. Your bros- bring them to the beach and show them that even the toughest bro would die under the scorching sun.
It's the perfect getaway.
A little mixture of food, sun, splashing in the sea, talking birds and shopping at Vivo made the whole day simply beautiful. I couldn't treat her like a queen cause I was running out of ideas but guys, when you're out with that amazing person, you want things to be so perfect, you fail to realize that everything is perfect as long as that person's there with you.
And yesterday was perfect.
I love you sweetheart. <3
Okay guys, why wasn't it a typical day out? As we were waiting for our drink at Coffee Bean, this middle-eastern-with-western-cultural-fashion-wear guy approached me and brought me to one corner. Of course, first thing on my mind was that he was going to ask me for cash... or sex.
So he asked me, "How do I get girlfriend here?"
Guys, have you ever been put on the spot? Like having to answer a question quick enough so you won't look like an idiot and at the same time making sure the answer is something logical and mature?
And so I replied, "Orchard. Clubs and parties."
Right? Cause that's the first thing that was on my mind. Loads of Singapore women go to parties/clubs and Orchard seems good enough. And after much discussion, he shook my hand in approval, smiled and thanked me.
So I made this dude happy and he looked happy- like he could take on the world, like a king.
Except he has to find his queen (and might get slap in his face loads of time by various women) in Orchard.
