Episode 15; Feeling This



I had one of the sweetest Saturdays ever.

I asked out Lily to study with me & we decided to study at the Esplanade Library. I've never been there before. Haha. We spent a few hours there together studying. Halfway through, this weird guy ( probably gay and lonely, very lonely ), did some very weird stuff to the "No Sleeping In The Library" signboard. We had a good time laughing at that guy. Mean? But come on, he provided entertainment. Hahaha.

Coincidentally, they were having the NDP Preview on that Saturday for the Primary 5s. What was so significant about this? Well, more on that later. So after studying, we decided to randomly walk around that area. I couldn't tell those who were patriotic from those who were going to see Liverpool. Too many reds. We bought some cookies and headed near the S'pore River. If Singapore will be best known for something or enter the Guiness World Record for something, I swear it would be for the Mats & Minahs. They're just everywhere, infesting our once clean country. ;[ And we saw this group of mats & minahs freaking out when a small, innocent lizard crawled by. Heheh.

Now why was the NDP Preview significant? It provided the best part of our outing- the fireworks.

It lasted for 5 minutes. We had to move about to get an awesome view. But nevertheless, the fireworks were simply amazing and to watch it with her was just lovely. (:

I honestly didn't want that day to end but we have worried parents who would call on the military if we didn't get home. Oh, and my little sister went for the preview without telling me. She's in Primary 5, you see. I don't expect her to tell me stuff. Yeah.

This would be a good time to have that rewind-fastforward-pause remote control.
