Episode 11; Fault Line, A Fault Of Mine
Why do people form cliques?
Is it to enhance your image of awesomeness? Maybe you find it cool to be in groups? Or perhaps you know, your ' brothers ' will have your back if anything goes wrong?
Or maybe to play catching, like the 4 mats I saw doing yesterday by the playground?
So I spent the second-half of Saturday playing soccer with the guys at Bedok. Alot of people came, including this Ang Moh uncle whom at first we thought was quite a busybody until we found out he had mad skills! Never judge a book by it's cover? Right on Ang Moh uncle!
I just realized something. Singapore's education system is quite flawed. Think of it this way, on one hand we have the academics and the other we have the vocationalists. I'm under the academics and the academics will mostly learn about theorethical stuff while the vocationalists will mostly deal with hands-on work. & Singapore will never produce an absolute all-rounder person. Food for thought. Hmm.
Oh, I had some photoshoot on Friday. Totally a mess. The first one was class photoshoot. That one was okay although I think I looked quite bad. The second one was the CCA photoshoot. Since I'm in tennis, I had to bring along my racket. The formal shot was err, okay. But the informal oneeeeee. God, I had to think of poses. " The Roger Federer " or " The Andy Roddick " or " The I-don't-play-tennis-but-let's-pretend-I-do " poses. I have to salute photoshoot models for being so quick at thinking on their feet to what poses they'll achieve.
And to round up things, I've been having this feeling in me. It's not a bad one. It's quite nice actually. Like those butterflies in your stomach flapping their wings and all. It's either I'm feeling super good OR those butterflies are lost.
