Have your parents ever warned you not to mix around with that particular kid? That boy your parents tell you to stay away from? And everything your parents don't want you to end up to be like? I'm that guy.
Friday, January 2, 2009 Chapter 10; In The Morning
As you all might know by now, it's 2009! Yes, I know I'm lagging but better late than never.
Spent the eve of new year with the guys at Marina Bay. Well, we searched for food first of course. Ended up with Long John Silvers at Marina Square and it was mighty packed, obviously. Mixed with different races and different kinds of people but mostly infested with 'mats' and 'minahs'( malay slang for the term 'kids-with-no-definite-lifestyle-and-hangs-out-with-people-of-their-own-kind-that-wears-trucker-caps-in-a-crap-manner-that-could-possibly-be-storage-for-their-big-heads' )
After our epic meal, we had to search for empty yet good spots so that when the big, bang, boom starts, it'll be visible. And yes, we managed to find a spot near the Fullerton Hotel. The roads were so empty. It's like Resident Evil-cum-28 Days/Weeks Later-esque. So there we were, 8 guys and 2 girls but we have no clue who the 2 girls are since they were with Dzul but Dzul and his ladies left and we were down to 7 guys sitting together. Gay enough? Thought so too.
Dann invited Shahrin to sit with us since he was there coincidentally too. He managed to find us and Zack was with him. We had a bigger group now with 9 guys. Very, very, gay. For an hour or so, we sat and talked crap and just hung out. With a mere 1.5hrs left, almighty genius Amirun decided to search for 4 other guys who were lost. We all followed him for a rescue mission.
Alas, this mission turned out to be a crappppp idea as it was friggin' hard to get by since people were like sardins and mashed potatoes so, we ditched the 4 other guys. Besides, 9 guys were enough. 13 guys would definitely leave a wrong impression on the final moments of 2008. We headed back to our campsite which by then, we have wasted say, 1 hour. Do the math and you find that we were left with 0.5hrs. Hahahhaha.

From right to left; Zack, Shahrin and Dann.
And we found out Irfan was at East Coast with his ladaay instead of joining us.
*Note to self; bring girls on next fireworks display*
Eena could've been with me watching these. Heh.
Anyways, in case you're reading this Irfan, we'll do In The Morning. We'll pass Dance Inside though we have to consider doing that for Jam&Hop instead. The song is suddenly stuck in my mind. Hahahhaah.
