Chapter 5; The Little Prince
Chapter 5; The Little Prince
We are merely a few days away from the start of 2009. 10 more days to be exact. Let's just hope 2009 will be awesome enough to make it through.
Had this dinner at Fullerton Hotel last Saturday night with mum. It's organized by her company's division. I have to say, for once, the food they served was way better than the previous dinner I went with her. Although, the rest of evening was painfully the same. I managed to explore the hotel for a bit due to boredom and this hotel is the grandest hotel I've seen or step in.
Then I received a surprise message by this person. The surprising bit isn't about the sender of the SMS, ( though it was a surprise she messaged me ) but the time she messaged me. You see, the last time she messaged me was during the exact same event- my mum's dinner event- only that it was a year ago. And out of nowhere, she messaged again, a year later, when I'm at the same event and at almost the exact time! I don't take it as any sign or whatever but it triggered memories. The last message she sent me a year ago was about our break-up by the way.
But nevermind.
I love Singapore's nightlife though there isn't much about it. I only like the city nightlife atmosphere. Guys, if you wanna take your girls out for a date, do it during the night at the city center. It's definitely romantic. Haha.
On the less brighter side, Singapore lost to Vietnam yesterday in the soccer match. Not a big fan of the ASEAN soccer leagues but Singapore deserved to win. They played well but not great enough. Oh well.
I deposited my what's-left-my-money in the bank and it's around $400. A few more hundreds to go. And really, I have no clue what to get once it reaches quite high. Initially wanted the Samsung Pixon handphone but it's just a phone which costs a bomb. Might as well get something way, way, way useful and stuff. I'm not saying that ultra-cool handphone is useless but I'm just waiting for an 80GB iPod Touch or and iPod which beats my current one. Hahaha.
I need to get out of the house more often.
